Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and RankDoku when you use rankdoku.com. By creating an account or playing, you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under the age of digital consent where you live (16 in some countries), you need a parent or guardian's permission. Guest play needs no account.

2. Your account

• Keep your login details private. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• One account per person. Your username is permanent; your display name can be changed in Settings.
• Usernames, display names and avatars must not impersonate others or be offensive, hateful or sexual.

3. Fair play

Ratings only mean something if everyone plays honestly. You agree not to:

• use solvers, engines, scripts, bots or any outside help during rated games;
• play on someone else's account, or let someone play on yours;
• deliberately lose, trade wins or otherwise manipulate ratings or leaderboards;
• exploit bugs, attack, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.

We may review games, reset ratings, remove results, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

4. Chat and conduct

Be respectful. No harassment, hate speech, threats, spam, or sharing other people's personal information. You can report a player from the match screen; we may remove messages and restrict accounts.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post (for example chat messages and your avatar). You give RankDoku a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store and display it as needed to run the service. Game records, ratings and leaderboards are part of the service and are shown publicly.

6. The service

RankDoku is free to play. We may change, add or remove features, and we may reset test data, ratings or seasons when needed to keep the ladder fair. We aim to keep the service available but cannot promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free.

7. Ending your account

You can stop using RankDoku at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing support@rankdoku.com. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, RankDoku is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of ratings, game data or virtual standing. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be excluded.

9. Privacy

How we handle your data is described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to play after that means you accept the updated terms.
